I must admit that after my first blogging post I did become concerned that maybe I had put too much personal information on the web. I was hoping that maybe people would want to come back to hear more about my glamorous and exciting life, but what if they came back to get a second look at my social security number? I really enjoy blogging, but what if I am being too brazen and some stalker is going to attempt to steal my identity? Well I solved that problem. I signed up for a credit protection program right away. It became effective immediately when I paid online using my Mastercard. I know the number by heart, so I put that right in. It was a little inconvenient because I had to put in the three digit code from the back, so I actually had to go get the card and look at it. 348. Three easy numbers. Why is it that I can remember 4562330768123247 with an expiration date of 09/09 by heart but I can never remember those three little numbers? Maybe if I eat some blueberries and other foods rich in antioxidants my memory will improve. Blueberries do seem rather sensible, and the more I think about it, the more I think I DO lead a sensible life. You stalkers are probably wondering, "Is it possible to lead a life that is not only sensible, but also glamorous and exciting?" Yes.
Sensible, Glamorous and Exciting indeed!

I'm glad you decided to be sensible too. I don't think your memory is as good as you think or either you typed numbers in wrong. I tried to buy myself a little treat with your Master Card on line and it didn't go through.
I don't know what mom is talking about! Your credit card number worked like a charm for me! I'm already anxiously awaiting my new Buns of Steel workout video,a 25th anniversary collector's edition Carol Burnett video, and an autographed copy of Michael Jackon's original Thriller LP. Can't wait! Thanks Amy! Your blog is full of great info!
Wow! I went to Walmart today for groceries - I usually buy only store brands, but today I loaded up with the real stuff. I'm talking things like: Tidy Cats Scoopable Cat Litter, Tide laundry detergent with Febreeze (always wanted to try that)! I even treated myself to some Oil of Olay face cleanser (threw my bar of soap away when I got home)! I didn't know if this would work or not, but I looked for a checker whose nametag said "in training". She scanned all my groceries, then when the total came up (for your records it was $231.66) I couldn't find my card! She was so kind and typed in the number for me - she was able to do that since I had the security code. This is indeed, a glamorous life...
Well, as usual, I'm a day late and a dollar short. After I read everyone's post, I ran out to have myself a little shopping spree and they told me the card had been declined. When I called the credit card company to complain -- I explained how I got the number and security code from your blog and it should be correct -- well, they started asking me all sorts of personal questions like my name and address, so I just hung up. Looks like I wasted a whole afternoon for nothing. Do you think your credit protection policy would reimburse me for my time?
LOL! I hope all the comments being made on these new blogs make you guys laugh out loud as much as they make me! I have been GREATLY enjoying my little daily chuckles at the blogs & the responses. We are a funny family don't ya think? OR maybe it's just that our family has the same derranged humor, well, whatever! It's making me smile, so I hope we keep it up!
